EuroSpike GmbH is a joint venture company of Diehl BGT Defence GmbH & Co. KG (Überlingen, Germany), Rheinmetall Defence Electronics GmbH (Bremen, Germany) and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Ltd. (Haifa, Israel). 

EuroSpike is headquartered in Röthenbach (Germany, click on the map on the right) and serves as the prime contractor for the SPIKE family of multi-purpose guided missiles for a wide range of customers in Europe.

The SPIKE family of guided missiles represents the latest generation of multi-purpose/anti-armour missile systems that combines fire & forget, observe & update capabilities with pinpoint accuracy over ranges up to 8,000m.

SPIKE missiles offer the unique fire observe & update mode by a bi-directional fibre optic communication link. This link transmits the visual image from the missile’s seeker head to the gunner and allows finding and destroying even non-line-of-sight targets. It also allows to change targets or to abort the mission after launch.
